Joe, Judy, and Joey Sparks operate the Sparks Family Farm in the foothills of Stuart, Virginia in Patrick County. We raise Black Angus and some crossbred Angus cattle. The meat is USDA processed and inspected. It is also dry-aged for more tenderness. Our cattle are grass fed and all natural. The cattle have NO steroids or antibiotic treatments. The cattle are locally grown, and the farm is Animal Welfare Approved. Our meat is very healthy for the individual. Beef sales include individual cuts, family boxes, half and whole sides. We have sheep that have produced some pretty babies. We sell lamb meat, pork cuts and sausage in addition to beef, whole chickens and eggs. We welcome you to call and come visit us on the farm.

We sell at the following markets:

Stuart Farmers’ Market, Fridays, May-November 8am-12pm

Salem Market, Sat 8am-1pm

Roanoke City Farmers’ Market, Sat 8am-3pm

The farm is open year round, Mon-Sat 9am-5pm. Please call before coming to our farm.
