Nature gives us everything we need, not only to survive, but to be healthy inside and out.  We know that what goes ON your body also goes INTO your body.  Our mission and purpose is to create and offer pure and natural products that simply nurture your body, mind and soul.  Our body products are locally made in small batches using only the finest, natural ingredients including local milk and honey.  The Dragonfly Farm is a small family farm nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  We offer soap bars, bath products, facial products, hair products, healing salves, body butters, lotions, scrubs, oils and baby products that are gentle, healthy, safe and luxurious, scented with 100% pure aromatherapy essential oils.  Our products DO NOT contain harmful parabens or colorings.

We sell our products online from our website and locally at the Westlake Farmers Market at Smith Mountain Lake on Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm from May through October (next to Lake Inn on Route 122, one block from Scruggs Road), and at Four Corners Farm, Rocky Mount VA (see their listing under Meat, Dairy and Eggs).

We are a state inspected goat dairy and cheese producer. The types of cheese we produce are Chevre, both plain and flavored, Farm House Chedder, Feta and Caerphilly. We also make goat milk soap that we sell from telephone orders and at the Salem Farmers’ Market. You can find our products at Roanoke Natural Foods, Eats Natural Food Co-op in Blacksburg, Harvest Moon in Floyd, Salem Farmers’ Market, Local Roots Restaurant and Good Food Good People.

Good Food Good People offers you the areas broadest selection of all types of local foods. GFGP features grass-pastured meats, eggs and cheeses carefully selected from local suppliers. A wide array of sweeteners, jams, jellies, honey and many other prepared local foods and beverages are available. Organic and/or biologically-grown sources are given priority and all produce comes from a 100 mile radius of our home base in Floyd, VA. Misty Meadow Farm is a new blueberry farm of early “U-Pick” berries located in Franklin County. You can start picking blueberries around the middle to the last week in May and continue picking until early July.

Directions: Route 40 East, right onto 890 South(Snow Creek Rd.), left onto Route 782 (Ashworth Drive), right onto 741 (Friendly Drive), follow signs. Payment can be by cash or check.
