Boone’s Country Store has been family owned and operated since December 1975 with the third generation now baking. Our bakery products are made from scratch on the premises. Fresh vegetables are grown with only natural fertilizers and sprays. We have meat from Amish country in Ohio, local eggs, local produce and honey. We offer a large selection of hard-to-find and unusual items along with handmade quilts, baby items and other crafts, bulk foods, and a fabric shop. We sell to Ikenberry’s in Daleville, Tinnell’s Finer Foods, R.K. Stores and Jamison’s Fruit & Orchard Stand.

Good Food Good People offers you the areas broadest selection of all types of local foods. GFGP features grass-pastured meats, eggs and cheeses carefully selected from local suppliers. The Rocky Mount Farmers’ Market operates year round in downtown Rocky Mount with the busiest season being May through October.  The market has in-season produce, baked goods and canned goods which have been inspected by the U.S.D.A.   In addition, the market regularly hosts craft vendors selling locally produced handicrafts as well as seasonal vendors selling live plants, nuts, baking staples, as well as Christmas trees and greenery.

Open daily except Sunday, from 6am until 5 pm, with most vendors selling on Fri and Sat, May through October.

Mayhew’s Farm is a family owned business located on Route 122 in Moneta, VA. Our fresh vegetables are grown here in our three-acre garden. We offer local honey and fresh brown eggs straight from our farm. We also grow small trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. Other items offered are straw, top soil, fill dirt, mulch, pond plants, and ornamental fish. We provide landscape design and will do the planting for you as well. We also will perform maintenance, cleanup services, and grading on your property.
