Boone’s Country Store has been family owned and operated since December 1975 with the third generation now baking. Our bakery products are made from scratch on the premises. Located in the center of Bedford at the corner of Washington and Center streets, the market features locally grown vegetables, fruits, berries and bedding plants. We offer a wide variety of produce, using conventional, non-chemical, certified, or uncertified organic production methods. Poultry, beef, chickens, eggs, and honey are also available. Many of our farmer/vendors accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). On Fridays from 11:30am to 1:30pm we have food trucks that provide fresh, natural, vegan, and beyond organic food. Our 1st Saturdays always have theme, fun, family-oriented activities, music, artisans, and so much more.

The Rocky Mount Farmers’ Market operates year round in downtown Rocky Mount with the busiest season being May through October.  The market has in-season produce, baked goods and canned goods which have been inspected by VDACS.   In addition, the market regularly hosts craft vendors selling locally produced handicrafts as well as seasonal vendors selling live plants, nuts, baking staples, as well as Christmas trees and greenery.  The Rocky Mount Farmers’ Market also hosts many community events throughout the year.  For more information, visit www.rockymountva.org  .
