Beckner’s Produce, located in the Burnt Chimney area of Franklin County, is a fourth generation family farm. We start with greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers in February then continue with spring plants and strawberries. Summer brings squash, corn, beans, peppers, eggplants, melons, peaches and berries! Fall brings pumpkins and apples. We grow food that we like to eat so you can enjoy it too!

Misty Meadow Farm is a new blueberry farm of early “U-Pick” berries located in Franklin County. You can start picking blueberries around the middle to the last week in May and continue picking until early July.
Directions: Route 40 East, right onto 890 South(Snow Creek Rd.), left onto Route 782 (Ashworth Drive), right onto 741 (Friendly Drive), follow signs. Payment can be by cash or check.

Morgan Farms is a third generation, family owned farm located in the Whitehouse area of Bedford County. The farm features “U-Pick” and already gathered pumpkins, fall festivals, corn maze, tractor-pulled hay rides, wagon rides, local honey, farm market, restrooms, picnic area, face painting, farm animals, birthday parties and school tours. From Rt. 122 turn onto Whitehouse Road and travel six miles. Turn right onto Smith Mountain State Parkway. Turn left onto Tolers Ferry Road. The farm is less than one mile on the left.
Payment may be made by cash or check.

Scott’s Strawberry Farm is a “U-Pick” and “picked-for-you” operation. Strawberries start in early May and end in early June. We offer produce beginning mid-May through August, with the majority of it raised on the farm. Honey, also from the farm, is available. We have blackberries, blueberries, and black and red raspberries from the end of June through August. We have dewberries as well. We hold a strawberry festival in May. The festival features live entertainment, a carnival for the kids, fresh strawberries, shortcake and ice cream. The festival occurs yearly.

Skinnells Orchards is a fourth generation family farm in the Body Camp area of Bedford County. We start with peaches about July 15th then continue with blueberries about July 25th. We also have seasonal vegetables. Late August brings apples.

We have 1500 “you-pick” asparagus plants on our farm. In our 30’x100’ greenhouse we grow bedding and miscellaneous plants. Next year, we will be selling raspberries grown in our 30’ by 72’ high tunnel. The high tunnel extends the growing season and can be toured when you come to the farm. We are located on almost 40 acres bordering the Pigg River in the True Vine/Glade Hill area of Franklin County. We utilize low spray production methods.
